I make it a habit not to discuss politics here, although, I did think it was important that everyone should get out there and vote. And it was great to see that this election brought out the voters big time. But...

I have to say that I was horrified by our soon-to-be First Lady's dress tonight. That was NOT an acceptable outfit for the First Lady of the United States of America. What was that anyway? Why didn't someone stop her? I can appreciate the fact that she wanted to some how match her daughter's outfits but with THAT dress? Noooooo! Somebody needs to get in there and help her out. Send in the Style Emergency crew STAT!

On the other hand, Malia and Natasha (Sasha) looked beautiful and their dresses were adorable.

You many have noticed that I, Dear Gabby, have disappeared for most of the month of October. There is a reason for that. In light of it being Breast cancer ( the c word does not deserve to be capitalized) Awareness Month and because of the whole thing with Christina Applegate being diagnosed with breast cancer, I decided to get my first mammogram. It was not a pleasant experience. They tell you to put your arm here, put your hand here, face your feet this way, turn the top of your body that way, keep your head up, hold your other boob this way, don't move, and then pull-smash-crank-clamp-don't breathe...OUCH!

Not fun, but I was happy that I was doing it and happy that I was getting it over with. On the way out of the office, the receptionist said, "See ya next year!" I was happy yet again to hear those 4 little words as I thought I would not have to endure this again for a whole year. Yes!

And then the next day, I get a voicemail from the Breast Center saying that I need to call them back. I didn't like that message but I figured that maybe they needed more insurance information or something like that. I called back right away and they said that I needed additional scans on my right breast. That didn't sound so good so I called my mom who was having drinks with a couple of friends and both of her friends said that they too had had to go back for more scans on occasion. This made me feel better.

The next available appointment that they had was on my birthday. I politely declined that appointment. For one thing, I was planning on spending my birthday in Palm Springs and the other thing was I didn't want to have my right breast scanned on my birthday! So, I had to wait another week for the second mammogram.

I went in and they told me that they had seen "something" in my right breast. Cancer runs in my family. Not breast cancer but cancer none the less, so that is not something that a girl wants to hear...EVER. They pulled and squished my boob again and stuck me in a different room while the doctor looked over the results. The results were that the doctor wanted me to go back in the mammogram room to get pulled and squished some more. Then I was sent back into the (waiting/examining) room again so that the doctor could review the results, all the while wearing a pink poncho that ties in the front. The nurse came back again and told me that this time I was getting an ultrasound. So, off I went in my pink poncho to get the ultrasound. After the ultrasound, the nurse left me on the table and placed a towel over my boob before she left the room. By now you would think that I would be hyperventilating or sobbing, but I wasn't doing either. I was comfortably numb.

The mysterious doctor who I had yet to lay eyes on up until this moment, walked into the room and started doing another ultrasound. While he was doing this, he was asking me questions about my right breast. "Have you ever had surgery?" No. "Have you ever had a biopsy?" No. "Have you ever had radiation?" No. "You've never had any surgery?" NO.

In between all of this, he is all, blah blah blah to the nurse in a language that I don't understand. The medical language. So at this point, I interrupt them and say WHAT DO YOU SEE? He said, "I don't see a mass and I don't see a nodule, but I see a breaking of the tissue which looks like scar tissue." This makes me feel good and sick to my stomach at the same time because after all, he does see something and he is concerned. He then tells me that he will call my doctor and decide if I should have an MRI or if I should get a biopsy. I'm hoping for the MRI because as much as I want to know and get this over with, I'm also not crazy about a needle going into my boob!

Two days later my doctor calls and says that I'm getting an MRI. An hour later, one of her people calls me and says that she now wants me to see a breast specialist. I of course, think that there is hidden meaning in all of this. Why did her person call me back? Why am I now seeing a breast specialist? WHY? WHY? WHY?

So, I took a chill pill and called the specialist...4 days later. I know what you're thinking, but it took me a while to chill. I needed to sit with it for a few days. When I finally did call, I got an appointment for November 11. That was the soonest they had, until yesterday when I got a call from them. They said that they had a cancellation and could get me in on November the 5th. This was good news but it was also terrible, awful, awful news. Why did they call ME when they got the cancellation??? I didn't ask them to do that. Do they need to get me in there fast???? Was I 1st on the cancellation list???? What's up with that???!!! WHY? WHY? WHY?

To say the very least, I have been completely paranoid and on edge this month...holding my breath. Every time I see Christina Applegate on TV or anywhere else, I think it's a sign. She had breast cancer and there she is so I must have breast cancer too. And then I tell myself to CUT THE CRAP AND CHILL THE FUCK OUT!

So, that's what I've been doing this month. I lost my shit for a while but I am getting it together and re-entering the Earth's atmosphere now. No more hiding. I'm cutting the crap and chilling the fuck out. One moment at a time.

I'll let you know what happens on Wednesday after visiting the breast specialist. If you would, say a little prayer for me:)

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher threw a BBQ birthday party for their daughter, Olive, over the weekend for her first birthday.

All of Olive's closest friends were there including: Ben Stiller, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, and newlyweds Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.

No sign of the Jen's on-again-world's-best-schmucky-boyfriend, John Mayer. He was busy blogging about her.

R.I.P. Mr. Blackwell

The man who created the annual "Worst-Dressed List," Mr. Blackwell, has died.

Mr. Blackwell began his career in fashion during the 1950's with his own clothing line business that he had for 35 years. By the 60's, he had become one of the top designers in Los Angeles, dressing clients like Jane Russell, Dorothy Lamour, Jayne Mansfield, Peggy Lee, Nancy Reagan and Corretta Scott King.

Blackwell's notorious list wasn't only targeted at actors and singers as he would also go after the Royals. He named Camilla Parker-Bowles "The Duchess of Dowdy."

Even though his list wasn't one that anyone would particularly want to be on, if you did make the list, at least it meant that you were famous.

Blackwell's health had been failing recently. His publicist, Harlan Boll, said that Mr. Blackwell had died Sunday afternoon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles due to complications from an intestinal infection. He was 86 years old.

Here is a little advice that Mr. Blackwell left us with: "Dressing well really IS the best revenge!"

Divorce Details Already Negotiated

It has only been two days since Madonna announced that she and Guy Ritchie were getting a divorce and true to Madonna style, a lot has already happened.

First off, Madonna made a not-so-subtle reference to her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Guy, when on the same day of the announcement, she performed a show in Boston and dedicated the song "Miles Away" to the "Emotionally Retarted." She then added, "Maybe you know some people who fall into that category. God knows I do."

Guy's father, John Ritchie, responded to her on-stage comments by saying, "She is being beastly. She's calling him an emotional retard. When he's being bashed by her it's horrid."

The last straw in their marriage is said to have been when Madonna made Guy decide if he would leave London to move to New York. He chose not to and that was it. The gloves came off.

Guy immiedietly made it known that he did not want a dime from Madonna. He just wanted their kids (or at least their son Rocco) to remain in London. Madonna on the other hand, wants all three of her kids, Lourdes, Rocco and David with her in New York. It looks like Guy won't be putting up a big fight on the custody front though, as she would most likely win that battle in court. He will probably go along with the idea of the kids living a New York/London life as long as he has full access to the kids.

And now The Sun is saying that the couple's divorce is already settled, aside from the kids. Guy will be getting their 1,200 acre country estate, their London pub The Punchbowl and a cash settlement to cover their London properties. Total value will be around $60 million. I'd say that is a little more than a dime but who's counting?

A source said, “The negotiations were relatively painless. Guy knew what he wanted and Madonna knew what she was keen to keep. There was a spell when Guy was in a mood to dig his heels in, but he decided this arrangement seemed reasonable and a long battle over money would make life unbearable.”

Considering that they didn't have a pre-nup, Madonna got real lucky.

As for who will get custody of the kids, that remains to be seen. But they are expected to reach a compromise.

In the meantime, Guy is planning on getting his groove on with the ladies. The source said, “Guy has always been very popular with women. They have thrown themselves at him throughout his marriage but he has always been utterly faithful. Now it’s all over he plans to have a little fun — something that has been missing from his life for far too long.”

I'm sure that there are an endless amount of chicks out there who would like to sleep with the man who's been sleeping with Madonna for the past ten years. Mythology baby.

Kate Hudson and her 4 year-old son Ryder were seen arriving at LAX from London on Friday.

She had been in London working on the film "Nine," also starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz, Sophia Loren, Dame Judi Dench, and Fergie.

Kate, who takes her fashion seriously, fully embraced the "bold" look of the Fall season by cramming as much jewelry that she could fit onto her left arm.

Alright, so i am literally sitting in the dj booth at a club in Washington, D.C. where Samantha is djing and they have a computer at the back of the booth, which i am on right now..
aside from the fact that she is an amazing dj and i am having a nice time, the glass mirror placed to my left to hide me from photos (literally) is making it all a bit uncomfortable!!!

This blog isn't really intended to mean much, it's just something to let people into my life-kind of a blog to let people know that i am working hard and i go out when samantha is working because she's pretty great to hear and i love to be around her and her energy as much as possible.

Sitting here makes me think about the fact that if Sarah Palin was in office, and living in Washington.. On a "slow" night, she would probably be dressing as one of the gossip girls or tina fey to try and "be cool" enough to get into this club.

I guess me thinking, and blogging about her gives her more attention and credit than she actually deserves.. but as Madonna says. "Express Yourself"

Travis Gives An Update

Travis Barker posted a little update on his MySpace page and it looks like he's healing up pretty well.

He said:

"Just another quick one to let everyone know that I think Im getting out of the hospital soon :) I can't wait to get out of here and be home with the babes. The doctors say Im healing up quickly and I'm gonna be out of here b4 you know it."

Travis also mentioned that he received a special delivery from his favorite restaurant Matsuhisa. Travis has good taste because that is one of the best restaurants. Pun intented.

On hospital life, Travis says that "The staff here is THE BEST," but he flipped the bird at hospital life in general. Can't blame him one bit.

Marathon Man Ryan

Newlywed Ryan Reynolds, who was recently married to Scarlett Johannson in Canada, is planning on running his first marathon.

He is not a fan of running, getting out of bed at the crack of dawn, feeling the burn in his lungs or having his nipples bleed. But he is planning on showing up on November 2nd, to run 26.2 miles in the New York City Marathon none the less.

So why is he doing it then? For his dad, who suffers from Parkinson's Disease. Ryan is trying to raise money and awareness for the disease.

He wrote a pretty heartfelt letter about it that you can read here.

Good luck Ryan! I've been there and its not easy but SO worth it.

I know that I say this every other day but the woman is stunning. And no, I'm not a switch hitter. But for Angelina Jolie??? Hmmm. Well maybe. Juuuust play'n.

The photographer was her partner, Brad Pitt, who shot private photos for the next issue of W magazine this summer at the French chateau they were living in. Could she look any more peaceful and content in this photo?

You can see the tiny hand of one of the twins that she was breastfeeding. So sweet.

In the interview, Angie shared her thoughts on never wanting to have biological children and how Brad changed her mind on that.

She said, "I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do."

Seeing Brad with adopted children Maddox and Zahara, changed her view: "I knew that he would never see them as different, and that gave me a certain peace.

I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to [getting pregnant]. I suddenly wanted to. It's one of those things you can't explain.

I'm just a mom and I'm very grounded by my family. I'm very happy, and I'm so lucky.

The world can like me, hate me, fall apart around me, and at least, you know, I wake up with my little kids and I'm happy."

And that's an excellent attitude to have.

Angie also talks about the fact that she is with a man who appreciates the changes that go on in a woman's body.

She said, "I'm with a man who's evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created.

He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier."

That's cuz he's a Missouri boy Angie. They get it.

The Jolie-Pitt's who were in the US for about a week to promote Angie's film "The Changeling," have since headed back to Europe.

The family of eight was seen arriving at the airport in Nice, France on Wednesday.

A few interesting and random facts that you may not know about Hollywood and Motion Pictures.

Fact #1

Hollywood got its name from a man named Hobart Johnstone Whitley, known as "The father of Hollywood" and his wife Gigi, who coined the name Hollywood while on their honeymoon in 1886. Whitley, one of the nation's most succesful land developers, motivated the movie industry to move to his new town of Hollywood. Aren't we glad he did?

Random Fact:

H.J. Whitley died in 1931 at the Whitley Park Country Club near Hollywood. He was buried in Hollywood Forever Cemetary and his gravestone reads "The Father of Hollywood."

Fact #2

The first motion picture ever to be made was called "The Horse In Motion." In 1878, Eadweard Muybridge accomplished this by using multiple (24 to be exact) cameras and assembling the individual pictures into a motion picture. Muybridge was commissioned by Leland Stanford (California governor/ Stanford University) to scientifically answer a popularly debated question during this era - are all four of a horse's hooves ever off the ground at the same time while the horse is galloping? The answer was yes. Muybridge's time-motion photography proved they indeed were, and the idea of motion photography was born.

Random Fact:

Four years before Muybridge completed this historic break-through, he discovered that his wife had a lover, Major Harry Larkyns. Muybridge went looking for his wife's lover and when he found him he said, "Good evening, Major, my name is Muybridge and here is the answer to the letter you sent my wife." He then killed the major with a gunshot.

Muybridge was put on trial for murder, but was acquitted as a "justifiable homicide."

Fact #3

The phrase "silver screen" comes from the fact that genuine silver was embedded into the material used for movie screens. Real silver was also used to make film for many years.

Fact #4

The first hotel that was built in Hollywood was the Glen-Holly Hotel. It sat at the corner of Yucca Street which today is really kinda yucca.

Fact #5

The first movie studio was established in 1911 and was named Nestor Studios. The studio was located at the corner of Sunset Bloulevard and Gower Avenue. An advantage for its location was that the weather in California made it possible to film year round. Nestor Studios later merged with other studios to become Universal Studios.

Random fact:

Every week the studio pumped out a Western picture single reel, a Dramatic picture single reel and a single reel of the popular "Mutt and Jeff" comedy.

Fact #6

The Hollywood "Walk Of Fame" was created in 1958 to give Hollywood one of its first face-lifts. It was designed by Southern Californian artist Oliver Weismuller. When first created, there were 2,500 blank stars. The walk begins at Gower Avenue and ends at La Brea Avenue. The walk is about 3 1/2 miles round trip.

Random Fact:

The first star ever to be awarded was on February 9, 1960 and the recipient was Joanne Woodward.

Fact #7

The HOLLYWOOD sign was created in 1923. The sign originally read as HOLLYWOODLAND. Its purpose was to advertise a new housing development in the hills above Hollywood. The Hollywoodland developers advertised the area as a "superb environment without excessive cost on the Hollywood side of the hills." Wow. If that were only true today! The land developers only meant for the sign to stay up for about a year or so. It was not intended to be permanent. After the rise of the American cinema in Los Angeles, it became an internationally recognized symbol and was left there.

Random fact:

The HOLLYWOODLAND sign became so associated with Hollywood that in 1932, actress Peg Entwistle committed suicide by jumping to her death from the letter "H." She saw the sign as a symbol of an industry that had rejected her.

Fact #8

The very first Academy Awards ceremony was on May 16, 1929. It was held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and 250 people attended. The nominees were not sitting on the edge of their seats like they are today waiting to hear who won because the winners names had already been released to the press 3 months earlier.

Random Fact:

The very first person to receive an Academy Award didn't attend the first Academy Awards ceremony. Emil Jannings, the winner for best actor, had decided to go back to his home in Germany before the ceremony. Before he left for his trip, Jannings was handed the very first Academy Award.

Fact #9

Clark Gable was paid $4,500 a week to play Rhett Butler in "Gone With The Wind." It was reported this week that Johnny Depp is being offered $55 million to reprise the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of the Caribbean," the highest amount an actor has ever been paid for a single movie. Do the math.

Fact #10

Marlon Brando couldn't get out of his seat fast enough to run up to the stage to receive his first Oscar in 1973 for Best Leading Role in "On The Waterfront.," But in 1973, when he won his second Best Leading Role Oscar for "The Godfather,," he not only didn't show up be he refused to accept the award. He sent a female American Indian in his place to explain his reasoning; Marlon felt that Hollywood had portrayed and treated American Indians poorly. Kind of ironic for a man who was receiving an award for his portrayal of an Italian gangster. A few American Italians may have had a problem with that.

Gwynie & The Olsen Twins Take To The Sky Together

You just never know who you'll run into at the airport. The Olsen twins bumped into Gwyneth Paltrow at Heathrow Airport today and all three were bundled-up and headed for New York. It's hard to imagine seeing people all wrapped up in layers considering it's still blazing f*cking hot here in Los Angeles.

By the look on her face, Gwyneth seemed to get a kick out of the twins who had been in London to promote their new clothing line, The Row.

Don't they have enough money yet? How many lines have they had already? Remember all that kiddie merch?

Butler Puts Smackdown On Paparazzi

Apparently Gerard Butler just isn't gonna take any more paparazzi crap. TMZ reported that Butler allegedly hauled off and popped an un-named paparazzi in the kisser at 2 AM on Tuesday morning.

The paparazzi hound says that he began following Gerard when Gerard was leaving Crown bar and got into his limo. He claims that Butler's limo soon pulled over with Butler getting out to approach the pap hound who was in his car. At that point, the pap hound claims that Butler asked him why he was following him. Pap hound responded by saying, "Hey, that's my job." The pap hound then claims that Butler reached in his, car grabbing the paps throat and punched him three or four times-- closed fisted.

There are now witnesses who have come forward to tell a different story. The sources say that the pap hound was following Gerard for hours. They also say that the hound was driving "recklessly" as he "chased" Butler's limo, almost injuring several pedestrians.

The pap hound says that he did not put anyone in danger. And of course he would say that.

The witnesses say that after Butler socked the pap in the face, the pap continued to follow Butler for an hour.

Sources also say that the pap contacted a civil lawyer before going to police.

Just a word of advice...It's never a good idea, no matter how much someone provokes you, to get involved in any altercations that could possibly involve the police when you are on foreign soil. Gerard is a Scotland native.

A Few Words From Travis...

Travis Barker, who survived a deadly plane crash along with DJ AM on September 19, opened up with US Weekly about his hate for planes and his recovery.

Having been too afraid to get on another plane in order to fly from Georgia back home to Los Angeles, Travis opted to travel by bus with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Taking a moment to speak from the Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles on October 6 he said, "I hate planes. My biggest fear ever is to be involved in a plane crash, so when that happened ... well, I'm just thankful to be alive! I'm just grateful to be here at all."

When asked how he was doing Travis said, "I am doing the best I can possibly be. I'm so anxious to get out of here. ...I've just been in surgery after surgery. I have third degree burns basically from my feet up to my waist and both hands. One of my hands was second degree burns and one was third degree burns. I'm trying to have a quick recovery and play the drums again and be able to hold my kids again. [Travis has two children, Landon, 5, and Alabama, 2, with Shanna] I'm going nuts not being able to see them and spend time with them!"

Travis, who had been a vegetarian for more than 25 years, become a meat-eater again in order to speed up the healing process. When asked why he chose to do this his response was, "I need protein from food rather than just protein supplements. I changed my diet. I would do anything I possibly could if they said like, 'There's a possibility you might heal faster if you do eat meat or just change your eating habits.' So I did. I don't regret it at all, I feel so much better."

When asked how long he expected to be in the hospital he said, "Oh gosh, I hope not much longer. I sit here and I read books and watch TV. I think if this surgery went well, I'll be here for at most two weeks."

Poor guy wants to go home. Get well soon Travis! Lots of love!

Going against rumors and speculation about trouble looming between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, I have to say that they look pretty damn happy.

Angie and Brad have been out and about in NYC all weekend. Brad came along to support Angie in the promotion of her new film "The Changeling," at the New York Film Festival.

At the screening last night, Angie showed off the new addition to her tattoo since having twins Knox and Vivienne. She has a tattoo of map coordinates detailing where each of her six children was born. Pretty creative, don't ya think?

Over the weekend, Angie was also out for some fun with three of her children Maddox, Pax, and Zahara. They took a little trip to Lee’s Art Shop in Manhattan on Saturday for a little shopping.

Seems like the clan is doing just fine .

Bestie's Audrina & Heidi

While Lauren Conrad was at home blogging her little heart out about being accused of bumping uglies with stinky boy Justin Bobby, Audrina Patridge was having coffee talk with Heidi Montag.

Here comes the part where I use the word "rumor" a lot. It's been rumored that Damien (Spencer) Pratt started the rumor of the hook-up. Wow, that would be a shock.

The funny thing is Damien (You know who I'm talking about, right? Little Damien from the "Omen") was spreading other stuff this week too, by telling Fox News on Thursday that he is (sarcastically) praying for Whitney Port's spin-off show, but his real thoughts are with Audrina Patridge, who is experiencing "personal problems" that are too dramatic to talk about.

"My real prayers go to Audrina; she really needs it at the moment. She is going through a lot, I just wish her and her health all the best," Spencer said. "Something big is wrong, but it is up to her as to whether she wants to go public with it."

What an ass.

Why would Audrina want to have anything to do with these freakers? I think that she should really consider looking into taking some Anthony Robbins courses.

Heidi on the other hand, is looking less like a self-proclaimed Christian and more like a Damien-endorsed-ate-up-spit-out-hooker.

In more comments to Fox News, Heidi actually said, "It’s really important to be here today (they were at TACO BELL)— world hunger is a bigger issue than people realize. Every six seconds a child dies of world hunger, so that’s a huge cause."

Spencer Pratt, the guy who totally reminds me of Ghandi added, "I think right now we need to help America the most." With that Heidi added that she would also really like to assist Africa and Romania.

Huh?

Darling boyfriend Pratt backed her up by saying, "Romania? Where did that come from?"

Do you think that Heidi will wear something similar to this outfit when she applies for ambassador with UNICEF? You know, when she concentrates all of her efforts on feeding the children of Romania.

For all of you out-of-towners who would like to know what people really dress like in Los Angeles... No one walks around town with full pageant makeup and a get-up like Heidi's during the daytime. Not unless of course you're competing for Miss Hollywood Boulevard . Audrina on the other hand, would be a better example of typical Angeleno daytime attire.

Newlyweds Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky headed off this morning to their honeymoon, according to an insider.

The apparent happy couple who were married last night in a private ceremony at Le Cirque restaurant, were seen leaving their apartment with Beth's doggie, Bianca. They hopped into a limo with their bags in tow along a few wedding gifts and took off.

Howard, Count your blessings. I hope you know that you totally scored.

Thirteen years to the day after the acquittal of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman, O.J. Simpson was found guilty of other crimes on all counts.

I got a call to hurry up and turn my TV on. So glad I was home for this one.

Just a few moments ago at 11:00 pm Pacific Time, O.J. Simpson was found guilty of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room.

O.J. is 61 years old and could face spending the rest of his life in prison. Yes!!!! Yes!!!! Yes!!!

Poor Juice was looking all somber and released a heavy sigh as they cuffed him and took him away. I can't imagine what that must feel like. Perhaps just like a knife in your back? Or your throat?

The verdict was read by the clerk in Clark County District Court in Nevada. He was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and 12 other charges for gathering up five men a year ago and storming into a room at a hotel-casino, where the group seized several game balls, plaques and photos. Prosecutors said two of the men with him were armed; one of them said Simpson asked him to bring a gun.

Judge Jackie Glass refused to give the lawyers extended time to file a motion for new trial, which under Nevada law must be filed within seven days. Gee, that's too bad.

O.J.'s sister, Carmelita Durio, was sobbing as they took him away. And then she collapsed. Oh the drama. She'll be OK though. After all, her fuck face brother is still alive.

Simpson said he was "afraid that I won't get to go to my kids' college graduations after I managed to get them through college." Yea, because they probably wouldn't be ashamed at all to have him at their ceremonies.

Sentencing was scheduled for December 5.

Angelina reportedly got a chance to slip away to have dinner tonight with a few co-stars from the film.

I guess that Lauren Conrad wanted to get a little bit more off of her chest regarding the whole Audriana/Justin Bobby thing because she has just posted this in her blog.

Here we go again...

I woke up this morning in a unfortunately familiar situation. Once again someone has mysteriously called Perez Hilton and had him post another insane and completely false rumor about me. Hmmmmmm... I wonder who it could be? I'm baffled... What kind of person would enjoy watching blogs and the press tear me apart? I really wish I could figure out who would do this. Who is someone that I do not get along with, that possibly has too much time on his hands (between pathetically staged paparazzi shots), that has a relationship with Perez...? No one comes to mind. If anyone can figure it out can you please let me know because I am truly stumped.

The rumor I'm referring to is that I "hooked up" with Audrina's non- boyfriend Justin.(eww.) This accusation is insulting on so many levels. I'm being accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar all at once. It would actually be funny to me if people weren't taking it seriously. Do they think I was swept away by his wonderful manners and his commitment to my friend? I love it when guys burp in my face. So hot! Seriously?? I have never even been in the same place as Justin when Audrina wasn't around. I have been there for Audrina for years of ups and downs with this guy. Now she is accusing me of hooking up with him?? It's the most awkward position to put me in because I can't defend myself without putting both her and Justin down.

Bottom line, I did not and would never hook up with Justin.

The worse thing is knowing that a friend, that I've known for years and even shared a home with, thinks that I'm capable of that kind of betrayal. I would NEVER hurt a friend like that!

Audrina - We promised we wouldn't let people get into our ears and make us fight. You KNOW I didn't do this and I have never given you a reason not to trust me. Rumors are running rampid about town that Lauren Conrad recently hooked up with Audrina Patridge's (sometimes) man, Justin Bobby.

Why Audrina would put up with this dude in the first place is a whole other topic. She should know that she could never possibly love him as much as he loves himself.

So, back to the love triangle. Audrina commented on her own blog this morning about the situation. This is what she had to say:

"I woke up this morning and it seems like just about every gossip magazine or blog has a story about Lauren hooking up with Justin.

I'm not sure what to believe. Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful.

I can't comment on whether they are true or false."

In response to this, Lauren shared her own thoughts with In Touch. She said, “These accusations are so crazy it’s difficult for me to take them seriously. While my usual taste in guys isn’t always perfect, I do prefer they shower regularly.”

Ooooh ouch snap! Did you hear that? Justin Bobby not only looks stinky, he IS stinky.

It is kinda funny that Lauren felt the only way to put this rumor to rest was to throw Justin Bobby under the bus though. Kinda fishy.

Just the same, it doesn't seem like Audrina is buying it. Justin Bobby needs to release his own comments on this. That would settle it. Perhaps to Dirty Dog magazine?

Angelina Jolie was seen this morning along with Brad Pitt and the kids, arriving in New York City. How precious is little Miss Shiloh anyway? I just want to squeeze her cheeks!

The family flew in from Germany so that Angelina could promote her new film, "The Changeling." She is scheduled to appear at the New York Film Festival screening of the film, which was directed by Clint Eastwood.

This is the first trip to the States for babies Knox and Vivienne, who were born in July.

The family will soon have to be heading back to their chateau in Germany though, where Brad is filming his new movie, “Inglorious Bastards.”

Daddy Brad is looking a bit like Grandmaster Flash in his pimp'n red fedora, isn't he?

Like every good shikseh, Madonna shleped her adorable son David to the Kabbalah Center in New York City today to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

David is becoming such a handsome little bubeleh.

Career wise, Mz. Madonna has a new film coming out on October 17, "Filth and Wisdom." She co-wrote, directed and is executive producer of the film.

The flick was filmed in London, is a short 80 minutes and is filled with strippers, cross-dressers, prescription drugs and slapstick dialogue. Sounds like a Madonna film to me.

As Whitney Port was shopping in Soho looking like a rebel diva yesterday, her new clothing line that she co-designs with friend Adrienne Baravetto, hit the racks at Kitson in L.A.

Whitney's line Eve & A that she launched for Fall 2008, consists of 17 pieces for the young urban contemporary female. The prices aren't cheap though so it'll have to be designated (get it? design-ated) for the RICH-young-urban-contemporary-female.

I think that all of "THE HILLS" girls ask waaaaay too much for their clothes. I'm not saying that I don't get the concept of trying to milk it while you can. Everybody needs to get when the getting is good.

But they are trying to milk the wrong crowd. The people who could actually afford to buy their clothes aren't going to. They're gonna buy another label, like Diane Von Furstenberg or something that they know. On the other hand, the people who would totally buy their clothes if they could, can't afford them. They can only afford to shop at places like Forever 21, H & M or Khols.

Food for thought ladies. Market research.

Britney's Sex Tape Drama - Not True

It looks like Britney Spears and family can breathe a sigh of relief.

In the last couple of days, rumors and reported quotes from Britney's ex-paparazzi-loser boyfriend Adnan Ghalib have surfaced, claiming that he had a 2 hour long sex tape with Britney in the pink wig.

Now Ghalib is coming forward to say that he never made these claims and that the quotes are false. He says, "There is no sex tape and I've never claimed there is one."

"I don't know where these quotes I'm supposed to have said have come from. What I do know is they certainly didn't come from me and they are completely false. I'm extremely upset and distressed and I'm taking legal action... This story has caused a lot of hurt to my family and people close to me."

Which "family" is he talking about? The wife that he abandoned in order to take advantage of a celebrity when they were in their most vulnerable state of mind?

He concluded by saying, "There is no sex tape. That is the end of the matter."

It's hard to believe anything that comes out of his hairy mouth.

Heather Was Dazed And Confused

I mentioned a couple of days ago that Heather Lockear had been arrested in Santa Barbara on suspicion of driving while impaired.

A witness called police after seeing a woman who they did not know was Heather, revving her engine loudly and repeatedly backing up over a pair of sunglasses in a parking lot.

It's being claimed that Heather was "driving erratically," left her car in the road and then stumbled through traffic. When police arrived, they found her car parked on a state highway blocking a lane into Montecito, a very wealthy area ( that's where Oprah lives) of Santa Barbara.

They are still awating test results to determine if drugs were a factor. Chances are, that's gonna be positive.

It's been rumored for a long time now that the reasons for Heather checking herself into the rehab center back in June were not for anxiety and depression but were for drugs and alcohol instead.

Let's hope she gets the help that she needs this time. It's pretty sad.

Travis Released From Hospital

Travis Barker was released from the Doctors hospital in Augusta, Georgia today following a horrific plane crash that occured on September 19, that took the lives of 4 people and seriously injured Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein.

Travis who suffered severe burns on his torso and lower part of his body, is said to be traveling back hom to Los Angeles. A source told People magazine that Travis who is traveling by bus back to L.A. , will not not be getting on any more planes. The source said, "Trust me, [Barker] will never fly again — ever."

And who could blame him? It seems to me that the guy had already had a premonition about all of this to start with.

Another source said that Travis will continue treatment at a hospital in L.A. and that he just "wants to be home." They added, "He's not in good shape. It's still serious. It's very serious.”

TMZ reported that DJ AM, who was released a few days ago and is back in L.A. now, apparently went against doctors orders to pay his respects at a memorial service held today for Travis's assistant and good friend Chris Baker, who was killed in the crash.

In honor of Chris, friends and family wore Chris's favorite color green to the service which was held at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood.

Travis and DJ AM are both expected to make a full recovery.

Little Matilda Rose Will Be Taken Care Of

It is being reported that Heath Ledger's 2 year old daughter, Matilda Rose, will be taken care of after all.

At the time of his death, Heath had not updated his will to include his daughter Matilda. His original will had listed is parents and sisters as beneficiaries.

There had been rumors that Matilda's mom, Michelle Williams, was going to lodge a claim on behalf of her daughter but Heath's father Kim, has put that rumor to rest.

He said, "There is no claim. Our family has gifted everything to Matilda."

Heath's estate is believed to be worth more than $20 million dollars. If thats the case, Matilda should be well taken care of.

Scarlett and Ryan Say "I Do"

Hollywood Hills Life has learned that Scarlett Johannson, 23 , and Ryan Reynolds, 31 , were married on Saturday.

A rep for Ryan, Meredith O'Sullivan, confirmed that the couple were married in Canada.

They were married during a private ceramony at a wilderness resort outside of Vancouver.

The couple had announced their engagement in May.

We will probably be hearing a new song real soon by Alanis Morissette on the subject. She too, had once been engaged to Ryan. Alanis has been eating a lot of ice cream ever since the break-up.

It is the first marriage for both and we wish them well.

Heather Locklear Arrested?!

Heather Locklear of all people, was arrested on Saturday night in Santa Barbara.

She was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired. Law enforcement officers say that alchohol was not a factor but they are conducting tests to determine if she was under the influence of drugs.

Heather was released on her own recognizance, without having to post bail.

Poor Ava. Both of her parents were arrested in the same year for pretty much the same thing.

Heather's ex husbnad and Ava's dad, Richie Sambora, was arrested in March and pleaded no contest to a DUI. Ava was driving in the car with her dad when this happened and had to witness daddy being hauled off by the cops.

At least this time, she wasn't driving in the car with her Heather, so she didn't have to see the same thing happen with mommy.

I think it's time for some family therapy. Wouldn't you say?

Heather checked herself into a medical center last June in Arizona for anxiety and depression. Maybe she took too much Valium before she drove yesterday???

R.I.P. Paul Newman

Hollywood legend Paul Newman passed away on Friday. He was 83 years old.

He died at home in Westport, Connencticut following a long battle with cancer.

Newman leaves behind his wife of 50 years, actress Joanne Woodward, and six children.

Vice-Chairman Robert Forrester, of Newman's Own Foundation, released this message in rememberance of Paul Newman, who among many things, was an enormously charitable man.

"Paul Newman's craft was acting. His passion was racing. His love was his family and friends. And his heart and soul were dedicated to helping make the world a better place for all.

Paul had an abiding belief in the role that luck plays in one's life, and its randomness. He was quick to acknowledge the good fortune he had in his own life, beginning with being born in America, and was acutely aware of how unlucky so many others were. True to his character, he quietly devoted himself to helping offset this imbalance.

An exceptional example is the legacy of Newman's Own. What started as something of a joke in the basement of his home, turned into a highly-respected, multi-million dollar a year food company. And true to form, he shared this good fortune by donating all the profits and royalties he earned to thousands of charities around the world, a total which now exceeds $250 million.

He Did It Again!

As I mentioned earlier today, Sacha Baron Cohen already pulled a prank backstage at the Iceberg show on Wednesday.

This time it happened on the runway during the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada show in Milan on Thursday, when Sasha's alter ego Bruno took to the catwalk, uninvited of course, wearing about 200 pounds of clothes and possibly a few blankets.

DJ AM Released From Hospital

Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein was released from the hospital today and is on his way back home to Los Angeles.

A rep for AM made this statement: "Adam Goldstein has been released from Doctors Hospital. While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends world wide. We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends".

No word yet on Travis Barker.

Sacha AKA Bruno Invades Milan Shows

Sacha Baron Cohen is at it again. He's left Borat at home and brought Bruno out to play for a while. In case you've never seen him in action, Bruno is his flamboyant Austrian fashionista character. Bruno is even funnier than Borat so this should be good.

While filming Cohen's upcoming movie titled "Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male" on location this week in Milan, Cohen let Bruno loose in the same fashion that he did with Borat, by not letting the "innocent" in on his tricks. Bruno and his posse (camera crew) bypassed security using fake passes at the Iceberg show and freaked everyone out when he went totally mental while "interviewing" stylist, Paolo Gerani, 5 minutes before the show was to start. Bruno was thrashing about until Gerani was able to hold him, in order for a group of security to pounce on him.

Italian TV showed footage of Cohen dressed as Bruno, wearing head-to-toe velcro and a blonde wig, running around screaming and hurling himself at the clothes racks. The models were screaming as well. Damn it! I wish I could have been there to see it. Although I would have been laughing uncontrollably, at the same time I would have been thinking OH NO, the clothes! Save the clothes!

How fun would it be to walk in Sacha Baron Cohen's aka Bruno aka Borat aka Ali G shoes for a day?

Needless to say, he along with all of his aliases, are no longer welcome into any of the fashion houses. He later tried and failed to get into the Dsquared show on Thursday.

Uh Oh! Jen Is Drunk Dialing Now

There are rumors flowing around town that Jennifer Aniston has been drowning her sorrows over the break-up with John Mayer (he's so not worth it), in a few too many afternoon delights with her new beau, vino.

A friend says, "Jennifer reached out to John first. She had a few glasses of wine - then decided to throw caution to the wind and make the first move.

John was pleasantly surprised to hear from her. He says they’ve been in contact pretty much every day since and he’s really looking forward to seeing her again soon."

Mayer is said to have grown concerned over his ex’s wayward lifestyle and urged her to slow down. I doubt that but who knows?

A source told the Daily Mail that "Jennifer's friends are worried. She’s had a really tough time since the break-up and the more time goes on, she realizes how much John still means to her. Basically, she’s still in love with him and has had a really tough time letting go."

Jen's afternoon delights with vino may have actually started when she began dating Mayer.

The source also said, "Jen just needs to be careful about not being so needy and vulnerable when it comes to men. Unfortunately partying tends to bring that side out of her and she’s a lot more appealing to John when she parties less."

Either way, I'm sure that Mayer is totally elated about there being another reason for people to talk about him.

UPDATE Sharon Stone Saying She Didn't Lose Custody

I mentioned a few days ago that Sharon Stone had lost custody of her son Roan, per court documents that were released stating that fact. But Ms. Stone is saying it just ain't so.

Fox News online is reporting that they have confirmed with Sharon's lawyer, Martin Singer, that the actress went to court in hopes of gaining permission for Roan, 8 , to be enrolled in a school in the Los Angeles area (where she resides) rather than in Northern California, where he currently lives with his father and her ex-husband, newspaper executive Phil Bronstein.

The request was rejected and according to the court minute order dated Sept. 12, this was because Bronstein "can provide a more structured continuity, stable, secure and consistent home for the child."

The order is permanent unless there is a change of circumstance, meaning if Bronstein moves out of San Francisco.

It's A Devil Wearing Prada

Models were falling down like dominos on the runway at the Prada show in Milan this week. Even Mz. Anna Wintour, Her Fashion Highness, was there to witness the faux pas. And a grande faux pas it twas.

Guests in the audience even had to help models back on their feet and you know, that's never a good thing.

I know the fabulous Miuccia Prada was being experimental and innovative with this new little look she's got going on involving nylon footies with sky-high heals, but trying to maneuver this look on the streets or on the runway, is like trying to walk on ice with blocks of wet ice on your feet.

Poor things must have been scared to death to walk back out there.

Who wants an angry Italian woman yelling at you anyway? Mama Mia!

What Would Rachel Save?

Even though I don't feel all warm and fuzzy about Rachel Zoe, I'm still watching the Rachel Zoe Project because lets face it, fashion is my weakness. So, I have to watch and I can't stop myself. I suppose you could compare it with a person being addicted to watching porn.

A good friend of mine insists that I would like Rachel because she's "nice," but I can't hang with anybody who uses the word "bananas" to describe something. Anything. I just can't.

So, back to why I'm still watching the show. This clip pretty much sums up why I watch. It feeds my addiction.

You know, watching the show last night did bring a question to mind though. If Rachel's house was on fire and she could only save one thing, would she save her career or would she save her marriage?

R.I.P. Roger.

Flea Goes Back To School

Michael Balzary AKA Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has loaded up his backpack and headed back to school with all of the other 18 year olds, as the dopest freshman ever. Only he's not 18, he's 45. But still, the dopest freshman ever.

He's enrolled as an undergraduate visitor in USC's Thornton School of Music. Go Trojans! Flea can be seen around campus several days a week. How cool is that? I sat next to Flea today at lunch. Oh Yea? Well, I walked to class with him! Shut up! For reals man and he even let me borrow his pencil. No way, shuuuut up!

Flea gave an interview with an LA Times blogger. This is what he had to say about school, the Chili Peppers going on hiatus, his solo project and his long lost stuffed animal pants:

So you're taking classes at USC. What brought that on?

I’m glad my music education has developed the way that it has, but it’s so much fun to learn this stuff because I never knew anything. I played trumpet in the school bands. I learned things I liked to play on my trumpet but I didn’t learn why this note goes with this note and why it produces that sound. Or how to create tension in the composition. The Chili Peppers did that in our song structures but all based on emotion and intuition as opposed to knowing the math and academics of it. Knowing the structure is really fun.

What classes are you taking?

I'm taking three: theory, composition and jazz trumpet.

What are you studying in jazz trumpet?

In jazz trumpet, I’m improvising over jazz changes and getting comfortable with that. I’m also studying with a classical guy named Boyd Hood who plays with the L.A. Phil. But the jazz teacher at USC is named John Thomas. Right now he's having me transcribe a trumpet solo from Lee Morgan off the track “Party Time” from the album “The Procrastinator.”

Do you ever get any students who say, "Why are you here? You don’t need this, you’ve been in a successful band."

Well, not from people there, but people outside the school have looked at me like, what are you doing? Except for real musicians who understand. I think most people see it as being about commerce –- you only go to school to make money, and you already make money playing music so why would you go to school? It seems backwards but it makes perfect sense to me. My whole musical life has been an educational process and I’m just furthering my education and filling in the blanks. There’s stuff that I want to know that I don’t know.

So, are the Chili Peppers working on a new album?

No, we’re on a major hiatus. It's a two-year hiatus.

And that was very set? You said, 'Two years and then we’ll talk about starting again"?

Basically, yeah. We just needed two years. We had our noses to the grindstones so hard for so long. We needed to get away from it and get a fresh perspective on things.

At this point, do you guys have plans to get back together and record something else?

We’re just taking the two years off and seeing where we are at the end of that.

What about solo work for you?

I’ve been making a record at home and it’s nearly done. It’s mostly instrumental stuff but I have Patti Smith singing on it and the choir from the school but mostly it’s an instrumental record. I’m not sure how to describe it but a lot of people have described it as cinematic, like soundtrack music. It’s not really a commercial enterprise, it’s not going to be on rock radio or anything. The record is based on the character Helen Burns from "Jane Eyre." I love Charlotte Bronte and all of the Bronte sisters.

I've got to ask: Do you still have the stuffed animal pants?

Someone stole them. It’s so funny because for years I always lived in crappy little apartments but right when we got the money from signing with Warner Brothers I got to buy a house. I bought a nice house in Los Feliz that I was real excited about. I drove home and the first night at that house, someone broke into my car and stole my bass, my leather jacket and those stuffed animal pants out of my trunk. And I had lived in crappy neighborhoods for so long and never got robbed. As soon as I stepped up, someone took my stuff. I commissioned the girl who made them to make me another pair and I never saw the money or the pants again.

New Daddy Clay Aiken Says He's Gay

Clay Aiken has come out of the closet, so it appears. One could say that there has been lots of speculation about this for a while now.

PerezHilton posted this People magazine cover on his blog and People has neither confirmed nor denied the story. People's website does read "Come back Wednesday for the full scoop on Clay Aiken at 7 a.m. EDT."

I guess that says it all. Wonder what finally made him fess up? Being a single gay parent? Dunno, but it would probably be kind of hard to remain anonymously homosexual when you've got a kid running around the house.

Sharon Loses Custody Of Son

Sharon Stone, who seems to be having some bizarre behavior lately, has lost physical custody of her son Roan, who is 8 years old.

She had been sharing custody with her ex husband Phil Bronstein.

Court documents from a September 12, 2008 custody hearing state that her ex Bronstein "shall have permanent sole physical custody of child."

Sharon's pleas to the court of request for modification of custody were denied by the judge who noted that this order is permanent unless there is a change of circumstances.

The court felt that Sharon had failed to meet her "burden of proof." Translated into English means that she was supposed to get her shit together to prove that she was a capable mom and she didn't do it.

Maybe she's going through a mid-cougar-life crisis.

Emmy's Show A Big Stinker Plus We Don't Care Who You Are Voting For

The Emmy's were terribly terribly boring last night. I kept wandering in and out of the room because all I could think about was everything else I could be doing. It couldn't hold my attention. I don't think it could hold any one's attention.

I have to mention this before my head pops off and goes rolling down the street...

I am also SOOOOOO sick of certain celebrities, mostly actors, using any public platform possible to try to make themselves look more informed, serious, smart and more important than they actually are, by forcing us into listening to their "worthy" opinion on politics at the most inappropriate times. Give us a break.

Getting up to receive an award for their work as an actor should be simple enough. "I'd like to thank my family, my agent, my manager, my director, God-Jesus-Buddha-Mohammad-Cap'N Crunch, and my 1st grade teacher who saw something special in me just by the way I cut my construction paper and oh oh oh yes, my fans. I can't forget my fans."

If they wanted to add in thanking our Troops for always having our backs in order to ensure our over-all freedom as well as the freedom to be an actor in the first place, that would be appropriate.

And then they should blow some kisses and get off the stage. Easy, right? Appropriate, right?

The question is, what in the hell do politics have to do with someone winning an award for acting? The answer is...NOTHING.

An awards ceremony isn't a soapbox. That wouldn't be appropriate in any other professional work-related awards ceremony. Can you imagine? How weird and awkward would that be?

Probably just as weird and awkward as when they do it.

If certain celebrities feel that the general public is having problems with figuring out who to vote for in the next election , I've got a hunch that "the people" have a list of ways in which to get informed. Like by reading the newspaper, reading books, researching on the Internet, going to rallies, debating with friends and loved ones and turning on the news. I doubt that tuning into the Emmy's would be on that list.

George Michael apologized to his fans in a statement on Sunday for letting everyone down again. He had been caught with marijuana and crack cocaine on Friday. I wrote about his most recent arrest yesterday.

George said:

"I want to apologise to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I'll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them."

I wouldn't call it being bored, but I'm sure we all have hope that George can get it together. And keep it together! He's too talented and too old for this kind of monkey nutz.

Duchovny/Leoni House Sold To Malibu Mel

The Malibu home of David Duchovny and Tea Leoni, located in the Carbon Canyon area, has been bought by Mel Gibson for $11.5 million.

Maybe Tea's getting ready for her half of a divorce settlement.

According to public records, The main house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms in 6,578 square feet. There are unobstructed canyon and ocean views, and the property is private, sitting on 5.5 acres. There is a two-room guesthouse over the three-car garage. It also has two swimming pools, one a regulation lap pool. The property has an old-world feel to it and was considered to be fairly priced for its primo location and quality construction.

Mel already owns what seems to be half of Malibu. I can't imagine what he needs another property for. He has a huge family compound for his huge family, just a few miles from the new Carbon Canyon digs.

Gibson, who seems to have race issues, probably has some "special" plans for the neighborhood involving hooded white robes.

Travis & DJ AM Expected To Make Full Recovery

Dr. Fred Mullins, medical director of the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, announced that Travis Barker and Adam (DJ AM) Goldstein are expected to make a full recovery after surviving Friday night's plane crash.

That is pretty amazing.

Dr. Mullins said that Travis and DJ AM were both suffering from second and third-degree burns. He said that Travis's torso was burned and that DJ AM's hands, along with part of his head were burned.

Bless these guys and the families of those who didn't survive the crash.

The whole story is just tragic.

George Michael Arrested For Crack

This is a total bummer. George Michael ,45, was arrested AGAIN in a public restroom. What is with this guy and public restrooms?

Michael's was arrested on Friday September 19, following a tip-off from the toilet attendant who noticed was lurking around the restrooms and became suspicious. These particular toilets, located in North London's Hampstead Heath, are known to be a notorious meeting place for gay men.

When the police got there, George was still in the toilet when they found pot and crack on him.

A spokesman for the Met Police said: "I can confirm that a 45-year-old man was arrested on September 19 on suspicion of possession of drugs in the Hampstead Heath area. He was taken to a north London police station where he received a caution for possession of class A and class C drugs."

He was released from custody several hours after having been cautioned for possession of drugs on Friday. Police have said that no further action will be taken.

Why not? It's not Amsterdam.

George has been on a long and smoke filled road with pot. He's always been pretty open with the fact that he puffs the magic dragon religiously. He has said, "I'm a happy man and I can afford my marijuana so that's not a problem."

But a source said: ‘George has always liked smoking a bit of dope and he’s taken it a bit too far sometimes but he’s never really gone much further. It’s pretty worrying.’

Ya know, whenever I am stopped at the light in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel, I can't help but look over at the public restroom in the park across the street, where George was once arrested for trying to play hide the sausage with an under-cover cop in the toilet and think...ewww.

His music is great. Why can't he just cut all of this funky toilet shit out? Pun intended.

UPDATE Travis Barker & DJ AM In Horrible Plane Crash- 4 Killed

Travis Barker, former Blink-182 drummer and celebrity disc jockey, DJ AM (real name Adam Goldstein) have been critically injured after fleeing from a burning Learjet that crashed just before midnight on Friday.

Officials said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. The plane hurtled off the end of a runway and crashed through antennas and a fence. It came to rest on an embankment across a five-lane highway and was engulfed in flames, said Debbie Hersman, a member of the National Transportation Safety Board.

The plane was headed for Van Nuys airport in California.

Travis and DJ AM who perform together under the name TRVSDJ-AM, had played a free concert at college along with Jane's Addiction former front-man, Perry Farrell and Gavin DeGraw.

The plane crash that took place in Columbia, South Carolina, claimed the lives of 4 people people. Chris Baker ,25, who was Barker's assistant, pilot Sarah Lemmon ,31, co-pilot James Bland, 52, and security guard Charles Still, 25, all from California, perished in the crash.

TMZ is reporting that Travis was burned from the waiste down and that DJ AM's face was severely burned.

Sources tell TMZ that Travis and DJ AM saved their own lives by jumping out of the door of the plane almost immediately after the crash.

Passerby William Owens who had been driving down the highway when he said he saw a fireball go across the road, told a local TV station that the jet was "in flames and the fuel is running across the road and I had to cross the fuel to get to the two guys that seemed to have been dumped on the highway."

Owens said the two men, believed to be Barker and Goldstein, were in the road trying to extinguish themselves.

He told the station he asked the men if there was anyone else on board the plane; they said four more were with them.

"We turned to the jet to try and see if there was anything we could do, but immediately, there was nothing anyone could do," Owens said.

Travis and DJ AM are currently at burn center in Augusta, Georgia. Travis is expected to survive and they are working on DJ AM who's face is badly burned.

It was rumored that Travis had chartered the jet as a result of his assistant Chris Baker needing to get back to Los Angeles because his wife was in labor.

At the time of his death, Chris Baker's wife was not in labor and that is not the reason they were flying home on a private jet.

A publicist for Travis Barker and DJ AM said, "Both Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) are in critical but stable condition and are being treated at Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia after surviving a plane crash late last night in Columbia, South Carolina.

The hospital will issue a statement with an update on their condition at 9:00 am eastern time tomorrow. Due to the nature of the injuries and the evolving course of treatment no further information on their condition is available at this time.

The accident claimed the lives of four people on board, two of whom, Chris Baker (Lil Chris) and Charles Stills (Che), were close friends of the injured.

On behalf of Travis Barker and DJ AM, deepest sympathy is expressed to the loved ones of all who perished in the crash. As the two recuperate and mourn this loss, privacy for them, their families, and friends is requested at this time."

It appears the reason that DJ AM was airlifted to the hospital and Travis was driven by ambulance instead, was because he refused to be airlifted. Can't say I blame him.

Gail Moakler, Shanna's mom and Travis's ex mother-in-law, spoke with People magazine and told them 'Shanna spoke to Travis last night. He was defiant after the accident and didn't want to be lifted in a helicopter, but rather an ambulance, so they had to knock him out.'

She also told them that Shanna had rushed to be with him. She said, 'Our heart pours out. We're hoping he recovers. The family is rallying around him and saying our prayers.'

Travis and Shanna have two kids together, daughter Alabama, 2, and son Landon, 4. The beautiful thing about Travis is he's not only a great father to his own kids, but I happen to know that he has remained an awesome father figure to Shanna's daughter, Atiana, 9, who's father is Oscar de la Hoya.

Gail Moakler said that they have not told the kids what has happened yet. She said, 'We're waiting a bit to see what God brings.'

A lot of Londoners were a wee pissed off and think'n that Elle Macpherson was a total barmy last week. Elle rode with her 5 year old son Aurelius Cy on the handle bars of her bike through the busy streets of Notting Hill after she picked him up at school. What a wanker!

However, the Queens people were much more pleased with Helena Bonham Carter. Not only because she has way better style than Elle, with her granny work shoes and knee high socks, but also because she traveled to her 4 year old son Billy Ray's school in Primrose Hill, putting safety first. He was buckled in, snug as a bug.

Londoners gave three cheers to mummie Helena for safety. Meanwhile, they are planning to tar and feather barmy Elle. Stay tuned for further developments...

Another Sex And The City Movie!

At the Public Library in New York last night, the same place where Big left Carrie standing at the alter, they had a party to celebrate the release of the film on DVD.

Most of the cast were there, minus Kristin Davis who was in L.A. and couldn't attend.

Sarah Jessica Parker looked like todays version of Audrey Hepburn with her new short bangs, smoke'n black dress, accompanied by long sheer gloves. She really pumped up the volume on the outfit with her sassy adorable hot-pink heels that matched the hot-pink carpet they had rolled out for the event.

The good news for us is, they had more to celebrate than just the release of the DVD. Sarah Jessica and Michael Patrick King both confirmed that they will be doing another movie. King is ready to start writing it.

Sarah Jessica said, "It's all about the story. If we can't tell a story that's really worthy of an audience, then we won't do it. We've been really lucky at this point. We've been in people's good graces for a long time, and we take that very seriously. So that's the biggest challenge, the story."

King added, "I'm thinking of doing an animated version of them as babies." To that Sarah Jessica joked, "Let's wring everything we can out of this thing!"

Miranda (I mean Cynthia) said, "I would love to see her and Carrie and Charlotte and Samantha all go off on some wild mad cap adventure somewhere." Sounds good to me. How about Rio?

Candace Bushnell also announced that she will be writing a "prequel" to the ladies lives. Maybe starting from when they were teens, all the way through college and then on to when they all met. How cool is that? I love it! "Sex and the City" rocks the 80's!

They could come up with so many rad outfits. Bring back Norma Kamali! Bring back the Izod shirts! Bring back jump suits! Bring back fuchsia tights! Bring back gold metal belts with lion heads!

Audrina Moves Out

I didn't mention it yesterday because I was waiting for confirmation, but there had been sightings of a moving truck at the house Audrina Patridge shares with Lauren Conrad and the snitty little troll known as "Lo."

It was looking like Audrina was moving out of the house and now it is confirmed. Audrina did indeed move out. She confirmed it with In Touch magazine.

I'm sure Audrina is doing the happy dance in her new place!

It does not look like the reason for Audrina moving out is (we all know the reason. Lo is a bitch!) because she's getting her own show. A spokesman for MTV said, "MTV has no plans for a spin-off with Audrina."

Ooh La La No More Scientology

The fashion forward country of France is saying that it's not fashionable to be blackmailed into being a Scientologist.

The country may soon be banning Scientology all together.

Will that mean no more shopping trips with Victoria to Paris? No more Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Cartier, Christian Lacroix or Celine for Katie?

ABC News is reporting that the Church Of Scientology faces a fraud trial in Paris and if the "church" loses, it could be banned in France all together.

Miviludes, a French government agency that is in charge of protecting the citizens of France from cult manipulations, has warned citizens against joining Scientology.

The president of Miviludes, Jean-Michel Roulet, said, "Scientology is a dangerous movement. It puts pressure on its victims, it tries to intimidate them and blackmails them."

The French are very skeptical of so-called religious organizations that requires its members to pay money. Roulet says that Scientology members pay upwards to $40,000 in their first few years.

Daniele Gounord, a spokesperson for Scientology in France said, "It is possible for members to pay that amount within a few years. It is possible, if a member is willing to progress fast."

To that Roulet said, "This does not fit with the French mentality. At church you are free to give money or not. We are not used to religions in which you have to pay for everything."

Gwyneth Chats About Life On Oprah

Gwyneth Paltrow was on Oprah today, talking about her post natal depression, her career, her workouts and her buddy Madonna.

On having depression after giving birth to son Moses, she said, "It was very strange, because I wasn't expecting it at all. After I had Apple, I would characterise it as post natal euphoria. I was on cloud nine, I was in a bubble and then when I had him I didn't feel ok, I didn't feel right.

He came out and I thought 'it's really strange, it's not the same, what's wrong with me?' I went down a slippery slope with it.

It was about six months until I felt completely normal again. I didn't realize what was wrong with me.

I felt like a flatline. I wish I'd know because I would have gone on medication and addressed it."

Uh oh. Did you hear that Tom? She would "have gone on medication." Gasp! Rip her a new one Tom, because you of all people should know what it's like to carry a baby around for 9 months and then give birth to it. After you're finished with that, bash her career and then invite her to your next wedding.

On working out she said, "Once I started exercising I was doing cardio and I felt like I had to get rid of stuff, I started recommitting to eating well because when I was pregnant I was eating donuts."

At this point I have to remind you about Gwyneth and Madonna's "celebrity" trainer, Tracy Anderson. I wrote a post about her a few months ago. She is a con-artist. Tracy may (or may not know) fitness, but in real life, with real non-celebrities, Tracy has screwed a lot of clients out of a lot of money, including one of my best friends, who was not a client. She was a friend, or so she thought. Tracy screwed her over BIG BIG time, owing her lots of dough. All the while telling lies, lies, lies. Huge TALL-tale kind of lies.

On being friends with Madonna, Gwyneth said, "She is one of the most caring women and also a very tough woman.

She's very wise and has a very soft, soft side.

She's given me a lot of great advice, she really helped me out of my post natal depression."

On Madonna's kids she said, "Her children are phenomenal. The little guy just kills me. He does dance routines from Madonna concerts on the living room floor. In fact my son and him battle it out to listen to either daddy's songs or mommy's."

On her career she says, "I love acting but I have two little kids and it's 14 hours out of the house a day and I don't get that time back.

It's really hard for me to commit to doing that lead role. I haven't since I had kids, I've done supporting roles.

I can't be out of my house for 14 hours a day. I did a film in New York and I only shot for 16 days and for five of those days I left the house while my kids were asleep and came back when they were asleep.

I walked into their room and just cried. It was pathetic I missed the whole day, I didn't know what they said today, what they ate. I just felt terrible."

Sounds like Gwynie is trying hard to be a good mama.

O'Neal And Son Arrested

Like-father-like-son-like-daughter-like-other-son.

The Ryan O'Neal family has had a long long history of substance abuse problems, as most of us already know. Just this week, Tatum O'Neal was talking to the world via the Oprah show, about her recent arrest for trying to buy crack on the streets of New York.

And as of this morning, Ryan, along with son Redmond (Farrah Fawcett is his mom), were both arrested for possession of meth. Or as they say, suspicion of possession. Redmond was found with it and a vile of it was found in Ryan's bedroom.

A side note: Is it just me or does Redmond look like his ex-brother-in-law John McEnroe?

There was been a probabtion search at Ryan's home in Malibu early this morning, as a follow up to Redmond's previous arrest from last year, involving possession of heroin and meth and driving under the influence in Malibu.

They pair were taken to the sheriff's Malibu-Lost Hills station where they are being held, pending a $10,000 bail.

The O'Neal family needs one giant intervention and a long stay of nothing but group rehab, family style.

I don't write about the daily disasters of celebrity drug addicts because really, what's the point? It is depressing to watch someones life fall apart. It reminds me of watching an insect who has just been sprayed with bug poison, die a slow death. So, I try to stay away from it.

But this really struck me for some reason. Over the weekend, there was a party set up for Amy Winehouse, in celebration of her 25th birthday. Her friends were there, her parents were there and even Mark Ronson was there, the music producer who I thought had given up on her, with good flip'n reason.

The only person who was a no show was Amy. The hours passed as they all waited with presents, balloons (no, not those kinds of balloons), a cake and still...No Amy. They finally figured out that she wasn't showing at around 2AM.

My question is, what was everyone thinking? The photo of Amy above was taken only two days before the "party." Why were they even having a party in the first place? What's to celebrate? That this may be her last birthday?

If they wanted to do something for her, why didn't they hold an celabratory intervention instead? I don't get it. It's all so sad. This girl does not look like a 25 year old. She looks like a beat- up old hag. I can almost smell her dirty hair from the photo.

Amy is a huge talent. You can't argue with that. It's a shame she is wasting her life away. Doesn't Britain have the same sort of conservatorship deal that we have for these situations (ahem) in the States?

R.I.P. Richard Wright

Pink Floyd circa 1974, Richard Wright, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and David Gilmour

One of the founding members of Pink Floyd, Richard Wright, passed away on Monday. He died at his home in England, following a battle with cancer. He was 65 years old.

According to a rep for Pink Floyd, Wright's family members did not want to give any further information.

Wright, who played keyboard, met Roger Waters and Nick Mason in college. After initially starting the band Sigma 6 with them, the three young men went on to form Pink Floyd in 1965, with the late Syd Barrett.

Wright helped compose one of the best songs ever recorded (in my book), "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," which was recorded in 1974, as a tribute to Barrett.

Although he split with the band in 1985 after a falling out with Roger Waters and David Gilmour, he reunited with the band after 25 years, to preform at Live 8 in 1985.

Now there are two crazy diamonds shining in the sky. He will be missed.

Matt Schulze 1st Place Winner!

As I mentioned yesterday, my bestie Matt Schulze was competing in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon at Zuma beach this morning. After having to work all day and night on the film Extract, I might add.

So, back to the triathlon. Matt raced in the cycling portion along with very heavy hitters in the cycling world and he came in FIRST PLACE in the relay division!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!

Side note: Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey were also competing in the triathlon. Neither of them placed first in a catagory but they both did well.

I'm so happy for him. He's worked REALLY hard for it and it paid off.

Since Sarah Silverman is still F*CKING Matt Damon and in case you didn't hear, Jimmy Kimmel dumped Ben Affleck, poor Ben had to go out and find himself a new love. A new "Matt." So, he's F*CKING Matt Schulze now.

And ooooooh it's some good luv'n.

Juuuuust kidding. These are some photos of my bestie, Matt Schulze, on set with Ben Affleck.

They are working on the comedy "Extract," a film written and directed by Mike Judge. Matt has a great cameo in the film and they've been working all week.

The film also stars Jason Bateman, whom I love, along with Mila Kunis.

I didn't take these photos myself. I don't visit Matt on set while he's working. It's his job and I respect that. Just like all of my other friends, I don't go visit them at their jobs either.

I'm really excited about this movie though. Not only because Matt is in it, but also because I think it's gonna be super funny.

Side note: Not only does Matt have to work late tonight, but he also has to be up at the crack ass of dawn to race in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon with his Ironman crew buddies tomorrow morning! He's crazy!

Aubrey O'Day of Danity Kane must be feeling neglected in the attention department because she went shopping for some when she decided to put this outfit on to her body, walk out of the motel in it, ride the subway wearing it and strut herself into the building where she knew that lots of people and lots of people with camera's would be there to look (I mean point and stare) at her and take her picture.

I realize that she may have been trying to get into the spirit of things at the Nico & Adrian fashion show, but a glass of champagne and some Red Bull could have done the trick too.

Lance Armstrong Going Back For More Tour de France

Believe it or not, Lance Armstrong is coming out of retirement to have another go around at the Tour de France.

He told the Associated Press "I am happy to announce that after talking with my children, my family and my closest friends, I have decided to return to professional cycling in order to raise awareness of the global cancer burden."

I'm all for raising awareness for cancer from almost any platform, but the Tour de France? Hasn't he already been there, done that? Are we supposed to believe that this is the reason he's doing it.....Again? Come on. Really?

If he didn't mind coming in 5th, 6th, 7th or even 8th place, that would be one thing. I might believe the reasoning behind it all but I don't believe that this is the case and I'll tell you why.

Last month, Lance competed in the Leadville Trail 100 in Colorado. It's a race in which they ride mountain bikes on a tough, 100-mile course through the Rockies. Making it the highest altitude race in the country.

Lance didn't come in 1st place and had said previously to doing the race that he had only hoped to come in at least the top 5. He came in second place, following six-time defending champion Dave Wiens, who crossed the finish line with a flat back tire.

I have heard from a few very good sources who also competed in this race, that it was a bit awkward when Wiens beat Lance. Everyone was trying to play the win down, including Wiens, who said, “The guy that I raced today wasn’t the guy who won the Tours, so I don’t put myself in that category. But it was great of him to come out and do this race and to race with all the people. He’s a class act out there. It was fun. We didn’t talk a whole lot because it seemed like it was pretty much business.”

Still all in all, sources said they could tell that it bothered Lance. Being the 'old timer,' ya know? It didn't seem to sit right with his manhood.

And now, less than a month later comes the announcement that he's back in the saddle again. Maybe he was just listening to Aerosmith and that got him all jacked up on spreading the word about cancer via the Tour de France. But I doubt it.

I hate to say it but it looks like his ego got the best of him. GRUNT GRUNT

Lauren Conrad The Author- Not Kidding

This is probably going to make a lot of people sick. Those people who have been busting their butts, writing for years, trying to get their own book deal. But as we all know, life isn't fair.

First reality star, then clothing designer and now author??? Lauren Conrad seems to be a smart little 22 year old. This chick is working it from every angle.

Well, maybe not so smart in her personal life but she IS finding a way to make a damn good living for someone her age, all things considered. Just like Paris and Nicole, Lauren has turned herself into a brand.

And now part of that brand includes being an author. Lauren has got herself a gig with HarperCollins. According to their press release, the fictional three-book series based loosely on her life that is titled "L.A. Candy," tells "the behind-the scenes story of a young girl who moves to L.A. and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality television show."

The character realizes that "everyone wants something from her, and nothing is what it appears to be."

Ooooh, now that's something new.

Lauren is writing the sort of books that she has always enjoyed herself. She said, “I’ve always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. I’m so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers.”

We know that these are going to be exhilarating reads because she's got the best and most appropriate proof reader in the world to bounce her ideas off of, Lo, the professional pouter.

Lauren told People, “I run ideas by Lo, and I’ll ask for her opinion because I value my friends’ opinions.”

Good idea Lauren. We all value Lo's opinion.

Hold tight cuz we will all have to wait until next summer to get our hands on a copy of "L.A. Candy." Darn it!

Madonna's Pals Show For The Not So Good Show

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Haaaappy Birthday Dear Guuuuuuuy. Oops. Gotta go baby. Playn' at Wembley tomorrow night.

After having all of the fun that she could possibly have in one hour, at her husbands 40th birthday party, Madonna had to split and go home because she had another party to go to on the next night. Her own. At Wembley Stadium. Even some of her buddies flew across the pond to join her there. At her party.

Workout buddy, Gwyneth Paltrow, along with Kate Hudson, Fergie (not the royal Fergie, the Black Eyed Peas Fergie) and Penelope Cruz were among some of the crowd who came out to watch Madonna shake her groove thang.

Even though the Madge crew seemed to be lovn' the show, lots and lots of audience members were not feeling the same love. Could have had something to do with the location of their seats, as they were not sitting in the VIP area, but it appears to have had more to do with audio problems. They couldn't hear her.

Around 30,000+ people could hear nothing but buzzing in between a few lyrics.

Many fans expressed their disappointment to the Daily Mail. Here are a few quotes:

"Great performance ? Maybe ! It should have been thought of to ensure that the entire place is exposed to the great experience and not only those who stood right in front of the stage. It was extremely disappointing to go to a concert of the queen of pop and to actually leave early, as you could hear people sing two rows behind you instead of her. Sorry, but for such a big event, it should be ensured that everything is perfect, even if you sit far away from the stage. I would also suggest to sing and not to put on a playback show. Additionally, if you pretend to play the guitar at least move your fingers so it looks as if you are playing chords. I think sometimes it is better to keep a dream a dream"

"I can't explain how disappointing this concert was, not just for me, but pretty much everyone around me as well! there was absolutely no atmosphere in the crowd and easily rates as my worst concert to date."

"She was hopeless... late onto the stage, sound was terrible (did she sing anything live?) and the screens were out of time with the sound - was like a poor impression of the guy from police acadamy. What a waste of money."

Madonna, who was almost an hour late to the stage, gave no explanation as to why. This also left a lot of concert goers ticked off because many rely on public transportation to get themselves home, which is very common there and the schedule delay left a lot of people stranded.

You can't expect every concert to go off without a hitch, even if you are Madonna. But you bloody well make every effort to make sure that it does. Because the tickets to these shows are so fucking expensive. And the fans who can't afford them but buy them anyway, deserve better than that. Even if they can't afford a ticket next to the stage, they deserve a show to remember.

Me vs. Apple Notebook

OK. I quit! I give up! I surrender! I'm not worthy! I F*CKING GET IT!

My computer is in rehab trying to get some kinks worked out and I'm borrowing a friends Apple notebook in which (GASP!) I don't normally use an Apple because I am old school like that and this is why. It's too hard! I'm not a techie kinda chick. I didn't start my computer life on an Apple and I'm guessing that neither did you. And I have been putting off the challenge for as loooooooooong as possible.

Yes, I get a lot of shit from my friends about it and yes I AM actually going to get an effing Apple laptop but I want to do it at my own pace. OK, my friends? Not you, my cyber friends. I'm talking to my flesh friends.

I did teach myself how to use a computer in the first place and I will teach myself how to use an Apple. I am woman. Hear me roar!

But I can't continue with my postings until I get my computer back tomorrow night. If I posted what I've been trying to write at the moment, it wouldn't be a hot mess. It would be, just a mess. I, on the other hand, am a hot mess.

Fashion Week Spring 2009 - New York

I didn't go to Fashion Week. I've stayed home and watched my friends dog instead so she could go to Fashion Week. I figured, who wants to be around all that fashion and glamour when I could be home dog sitting instead. Wait... huh?

I know that we are all still trying to figure out which way we're going to go with our Fall styles because lets face it, it's not even cold yet. It's not even sort of cold yet. We're still wearing our summer clothes for f*cks sake, but fashion doesn't wait for anyone. It keeps moving forward towards the future, in warp speeds, even though its destination may be to a place we've all been before.

This Spring 2009, it looks like thats the case. The look, or should I say looks for the Spring, are a combination of the 60's, 70's and 80's. So, you are going to be able to pick your favorite era and roll with it. Or better yet, mix it up depending on whatever mood you're in, and roll with that.

My favorite is always the Peggy Lipton style of the 60's. And for whatever floats your boat, there will be something funky and cool for you to wear too.

A Little More Drama In The Hills. Finally.

The Hills got a little more interesting last night. Even if lots of it IS fake, there are a lot of elements to their lives that I don't believe they are capable of faking. They're not that great of actors. I think that we could all agree on that. Otherwise they wouldn't be on The Hills. Ya know?

After driving past the Bolthouse offices abut an hour ago, I was reminded again of just how nauseating Spratt is. I don't think that it's just for show that he's always at home playing video games. It took Heidi's sister moving in with them to get the troll to actually get dressed and leave the house. Too bad the only place he had to go was to see Heidi at work so he could whine to her about her sister erasing his Tevo recordings.

I think what he really meant to say to her was that he wants to be able to lay around all day and watch TV, scratching his ass while playing Grand Theft Auto. All of this of course, without having to feel bad about himself because the jig is up with Heidi's sister there to witness his useless waste of space on Earth.

On to the other Spratt, Stephanie. This girl could do everyone a big favor by not playing the role of victim anymore. 'Everybody hates me. Nobody trusts me and I don't know why? Wah Wah Wah.'

And why is Lauren friends with her anyway? I'm all about being cordial with people but inviting the sister of your sworn enemy into your inner circle? That's only gonna cause negative controversy no matter how you look at it. But maybe that is what she's looking for. What better way of getting back at your enemy than becoming best buds with a close relative?

It was interesting to see Brody be sort of human and serious for once even though he came off as a jerk. But then again, maybe Stephanie deserved it. I guess we'll never know though cuz their past lives weren't previously recorded.

Oh, and Brody's arrest. Woo hoo! This is the first Hills arrest, isn't it? About time. It's not a reality show until someone gets arrested.

Yesterday after I posted the story about the guy finding and then them selling the original Hendrix burnt guitar that had gone missing since 1967, I had a phone conversation with one of my friends ( lets call him Bill) who is a Jimi enthusiast/guitar collector.

Me: Hey, so did you hear about Jimi's guitar that they found and just sold?

Bill: Are you an idiot? I can't believe you wrote about that.

Me: Wha? Whadya mean?

Bill: You are soo dumb. You probably believe in Bigfoot.

Me: Huh? What are you talking about?

Bill: I can't believe you wrote that. I can't believe you fell for that. God you're stupid.

Me: Huh?

Bill: Do you really think that that guitar has been LOST this whole time and that Hank just happened to pull it outa gramma's garage? Gimme a break. You're so stupid.

(Side note: Bill and I often refer to people we don't know and sometimes people we do know, with made up names like Hank or Charles and sometimes we call each other these names too)

On March 31, 1967, Jimi Hendrix made the ingenious decision to lite his 1965 Fender Stratocaster on fire, in front of a live audience at London's Finsbury Astoria.

Afterwards, he was taken to the hospital for minor hand injuries, but I think it's safe to say it was worth it to him. And who could know that it 1967, it would be really worth it to us too?

After the show, the guitar was taken to the offices of his aide Tony Garland and ended up being kept at Garland's parent's house in southern England...in the garage! Which is where it stayed all of these years until it was discovered by Garland's nephew last year in 2007. 40 years later!

This remarkable find (why can't I ever find stuff like this?) went on the auction block in London and was sold yesterday for $495,000. That's it? That's it? I can't BELIEVE that it didn't fetch more than that but what are you gonna do?

Ted Owen, Director of acquisitions at the Fame Bureua rock memorabilia firm which organised the sale, has described Hendrix's act as "a watershed in live performance."

Duchovny's Addiction Problem Porn? Don't Think So.

I didn't make sense to me that porn was the sex addiction problem that David Duchovny had, according to a previous source.

I'm not saying that he doesn't have an addiction to porn. I just believe that there is no way in hell his wife, Tea Leoni, would make him, ask him or even allow him to make a public announcement, telling the world that he was a sex addict, because he was addicted to porn. The guy had to be cheating on her, like the new source is saying.

Plain and simple. What wife and mother would invite that kind of light to shine on her family because daddy is knocking boots with his computer? Nobody.

The dude was obviously making some pit stops in the neighborhood along his jogging path in Malibu.

And on sort of a side note. Have you heard of the new 'cheating rat' gene that Swedish researchers announced this week is what they believe the reason to be for some men to stray on their partners?

They are saying that this gene variant is more prevalent in men than in women, thus the reason for it to be more likely for a man to cheat. The ratio is 2 out of every 5 men have the gene variant.

The gene variant supposedly regulates the activity of a hormone. Or you could say influences brain activity, that prevents the man from bonding to his partner, whether its the mother of his children or not. Making it not only more likely that he will stray, but also more likely for him to be more emotionally distant and disagreeable.

I'm not a scientist so I don't know, but I guess the hypothesis boils down to mind over matter or morals vs. genes.

Annie Leibowitz Finds Herself In A Cash Crunch

It's kind of hard to believe, but the amazingly talented and long-time Vanity Fair photographer, Annie Leibowitz, is finding it hard to pay her bills right now.

Annie has always seemed to get the really cool gigs on top of the $2 million a year gig that she has going with Vanity Fair. But I guess the economic disaster has even been knocking on her door, as it's being reported that Annie has accumulated $715,000 worth of debt.

This all seems a little odd but you never know what's going on with people. Or maybe I should say you never know what is going on with your accountant.

The allegations are that Annie is a year overdue in paying for renovations done to her Greenwich Village townhouse, owes money for unpaid taxes, an aborted book project and rental equipment.

I dunno. Like I said, the lady gets a lot of great gigs like the one she just had with Louis Vuitton. I loooove this photo of Keith Richards! How rad is this? You know she must be getting paid well for jobs like this so $715,000 in the debt does not make a lot of sense to me.

Lilly Allen Tells Elton John To F*ck Off On Stage

It was a case of co-hosting gone wild. I mean gone wrong. Way wrong. Lily Allen and Elton John hosted the GQ Men of the Year Awards in what should have been a good combo of "something old" and "something new," but it wasn't to be.

According to the Daily Mail, Lily was hitting the champagne pretty hard during the awards and it started to show. When she went to announce '...and now the most important part of the night' Elton said:' What? Are you going to have another drink?'

I guess Lily didn't think that was very ha ha funny because she responded with 'Fuck off Elton. I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me!'

Whoa, jump back little girl. That's Elton John you're talking to.

As the audience fell silent, Elton did not, although even he seemed stunned . He said, "I could still snort you under the table."

With that, Lily still couldn't keep her trap shut. She snapped, 'Fuck off. I don't know what you are talking about.'
