Really crappy news. Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The girl can't seem to catch a break. Within a month her boyfriend is found dead and now cancer. I feel really bad for her.
Christina's mother is a breast cancer survivor. That probably helped in having an early diagnosis for Christina because I'm sure that she get's checked out regularly since it already runs in her family.
But there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Christina's publicist released a statement saying:
"Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery."
That is excellent news. We are praying for a quick recovery for you Christina!
