If you are a fan of Marilyn Monroe, you might be interested in this. The Andrew Weiss Gallery in Beverly Hills has opened a Marilyn Monroe exhibition to celebrate what would have been her 82nd birthday, of some photographs that have never been published or sold before. The photos were taken by Bert Stern, a fashion photographer for Vogue.
Some of the photos are nude and semi-nudes. The photos have not been touched up and are from the original negatives from the original camera. Marilyn died only six weeks after these photos were taken.
If you get a chance to drop by there I would, because you won't be able to view these portraits again once they are sold.
The exhibition opened June 20th and runs thru August 2, 2008.
